The Sensory Experience Design workshop titled "100 perceptions of Tallinn Old Town" was conducted by Prof. Masayo Ave in Tallinn, Estonia on 26-29 March 2018, as a joint workshop for Interior architecture students of Estonian Academy of Arts and Product design students of BAU International Berlin-University of Applied Sciences in Berlin.
The goal of the workshop is to make the sensory material collection: 100 perceptive elements carefully collected in the Tallinn Old Town– the UNESCO world heritage town, which uniquely inherits the perceptive characters of the medieval Hansa city. Through the field research and hands-on exercise, the students of the two institutes teamed up and cooperated to create the unique material collection by exchanging the views and skills in an interdisciplinary manner.
The collection will be exhibited in Berlin in June at the Estonian House in Berlin to celebrate the 100 years anniversary of the Republic of Estonia.
